The quilting pattern, "The Log Cabin,” is one of the most iconic and popular in quilt culture and dates back to the mid-1800s with the center square representing the heart of the home. Stay a week and explore the New River Valley - 15 minutes to the Draper Village (restaurant, tea room, eclectic shopping, bike rentals, massage therapy, agritourism), 10 minutes to Foster Falls State Park (horseback riding, kayak/canoe access) and 25 minutes to Claytor Lake State Park (beach area, motorized boat rentals, hiking trails). Our area is also home to lots of wineries, antiquing, and sight seeing!
