Yona....Cherokee for Bear
Many Native Americans believed the bear's long sleep brought visions of truth and healing. The Bear has come to symbolize a great source of wisdom through relaxation, looking inward, and giving attention to one's dreams. After their time of rest, bears emerge with a new strength and vigor for life, much like the growing earth itself. At Yona Mountain Lodge you can enjoy relaxation as a source of healing and renewal. We hope this grand, comfortable lodge with it's impressive views and serene sounds of the water below leaves you feeling restored and revived.
