Ramsey Reid Cottage is a budget, family-friendly retreat on Claytor Lake that features a sandy beach leading into the lake, perfect for children who want to play and wade in the water. A paddle boat and canoe are provided for venturing out and exploring Claytor Lake’s scenic mountain views. The floating dock provides a place to cast a line or take a running leap into the cool lake water. Spend the day outdoors in the spacious yard- play horseshoes, build a campfire in the fire pit, stretch out in the hammock, there is even a swing set for the little ones. In the evening, watch the brilliant sunsets from the lakeside gazebo. Inside, the kitchen opens into the den area and offers lots of room for family meals. The bright sunroom is a cozy place for playing board games, reading a good book, or enjoying a morning cup of coffee. Everyone in the family will enjoy a relaxing retreat at this charming cottage on the lake.
