Throughout the centuries, people have journeyed to this river in search of nourishment and renewal. To the Native Americans who once roamed these hills, the river held the answers to daily life. As the only river to cut through the entire width of the Appalachian Mountains, the New River has long been prized for it's fishing and recreation. While the fishing is still good here, people are finding something else in this old river these days....peace of mind.
Anisidi Lodge has all the comforts to put guests at ease, plus impressive extras. Relax on one of the inviting porches, let your mind wander while you watch the river roll by, or star gaze where you can still see the milky way at night. Whatever adventures may come your way, Anisidi Lodge is the place to be at the end of the day.
